Whiplash Beer started in 2016 as a weekend project between friends Alex Lawes and Alan Wolfe, quickly becoming Ireland’s top-rated brewery on Untappd and the first Irish brewery invited to Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen.
By 2019, the duo had built their own purpose-built brewery in Ballyfermot, Dublin, where they now craft everything from hop-forward IPAs to experimental one-offs with a team of 13.
